I provide one postpartum visit to review the birth and facilitate referrals if additional support and care is  necessary.

During pregnancy I offer information and education about labor and birth, ways to prepare yourself, and what you might expect during your labor and birth. During labor and birth I provide a calm and reassuring presence. I offer guidance and support for the partner/ other people in the room so they can better support you. I assist with comfort measures and relaxation techniques. I interpret suggestions by medical staff and advocate your birth preferences. I remind you to eat, drink, and use the bathroom so the physiological process of birth can unfold.
