"During my last months of pregnancy, I was living away from my family, preparing for my college graduation, and feeling very nervous about getting to the hospital with little help nearby. Fortunately, I met Joy weeks before I went into labor. From the start, she comforted me by offering her time and care. Knowing that she would be by my side gave me one less thing to worry about. The morning I went into labor, she picked me up and drove me 40 miles to my hometown. There, she walked my family through the necessary steps to get me to the hospital, eased their worries, and as a result, helped me experience a smooth and relatively quick delivery. Thanks to Joy's guidance, my best friend and sister were able to participate in the experience and my birth plan was carried out to the last natural detail. It was a surreal adventure."
